Hi, I'm Aaron Smith

I'm an SEO Content Strategist focused on helping my clients grow sales and leads through their websites. That means great SEO and AEO/GEO to help people find it on Google and AI platforms. Then, a great on-site experience to close out the customer journey and win new business.

I've also developed dozens of AI programs in ChatGPT and Claude to handle everything from streamlining new content creation to automating parts of the applicant review process.

When word gets around about a new problem, most people grumble, "Not my job". I'm the guy who runs toward the issue, learning about the problem, and bringing people together to solve it.

About Aaron

Search Engine Optimization

I'm a Team Lead of Copy Strategy at Coalition Technologies, a leading SEO agency. My 6-person team manages SEO content strategies from first draft to publication. I've directed strategies for hundreds of businesses, including Microsoft's Bing Maps platform and Roku's Originals, Support, & Community.

Copywriting & Content Strategy

I start with extensive research of a brand and its competitors, then concisely communicate its value propositions through a compelling written voice. My writing is eye-catching, creative, and data-driven. I excel at learning about and covering technically challenging topics.

Team Leadership

With 7 years as a Team Lead at Coalition Technologies (9 years there in total), I lead 8 direct reports and manage a team of 80+ contract copywriters. The concurrent monthly work of my team covers 100+ websites of our client accounts.

AI for Digital Marketing

I wrote the company AI policy for the use of AI-generated content in SEO content at Coalition Technologies. I developed processes for using AI tools and company best practices improving AI visibility through Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) / Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

User Experience (UX) Design

Optimizing for User Experience often means planning the entire conversion funnel. I work closely with designers and developers to turn more visitors into clients or customers.

Videography

I've written, directed, produced, and edited several short films and advertisements. Start by checking out my Demo Reel or my promotional video for Psarianos Violins.
